Shows that will rock your face off

August 12, 2009

It’s been a way awesome week, guys.

Ok, ok. Not really. I’ve had, like, a three day headache. It’s not awesome. And, let me tell you…pain makes a person not want to be creative.

At all.

But, for the love of you all, and for writing, I keep going.

So, here is that totally cool list of upcoming August and September shows I said I would post.

And, herrrre we go!

Peter Bjorn and John – August 28 @ the Granada, Lawrence, Kan.

The Dandy Warhols – September 3 @ the Beaumont, KCMO

Broken Spindles, Baby Birds Don’t Drink Milk, and Pharmacy Spirits – September 11 @ the Replay, Lawrence, Kan.

And yes, yes…I know. There are a lot more coming up that are great, too. This is merely a handful.

In other music news:

My most recent review at PopWreckoning: It’s all about the Cave Singer’s new album, Welcome Joy. I hope you, ahem, enjoy.

And, take a look at the Warhols’ most recent video for “Then I Dreamt of yes.” Pretty, and creepy – a great combo indeed.

Oh, of course. I always am very literal. In a figurative, metaphorical, bs type fashion.
