About Abbie Stutzer

meeeeeHey! I’m Abbie Stutzer (waves all nerdy-like). I am a full-time freelance writer and editor. I graduated from journalism graduate school in December 2008. I provide professional (words that wear a tie) and quirky (words that like to hang with your odd, progressive aunt) copy for any type of company, or publication. Specialties include: sustainable and urban farming, organics, women’s health, commentary, copywriting for small, independent businesses, and music writing.

In my free time, I run (from my problems — kidding), yoga my body, read various books about real and fictional things, attempt photography, listen to music, watch a sickening amount of horror movies, go to shows, and drink wine. I also: clean homes, walk dogs and cook vegetarian/vegan food.

Rates: $30 an hour (for the words and edits, people); project and freelance consulting rates

are flexible, but typically start at $100.

Awesome blog, Abbie! I truly enjoy your writing style, sense of humor and the fact that you keep proper perspective. Hopefully, OP will grow on you — and not like a mold! dg

Hi Abbie! Great review of “The Brood” in the new BtZ issue! I’ve seen a lot of Cronenberg’s films. I’ll have to check out “The Brood” now. 🙂 Have an awesome weekend!
